Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969 is an English comedian, actress, and writer. Her performance in The Catherine Tate Show, which is a BBC sketch comedy series has been recognized with numerous accolades. She was also nominated for seven BAFTAs as well as an International Emmy Award. Tate was Donna Noble's character in Doctor Who's Christmas special of 2006. She later reprised the role and was later the Tenth Doctor's regular companion in the fourth season of Doctor Who in 2008. [2] After the huge success of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate played Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) and in the movie The Nan Movie (2022). She began playing Nellie Bertram, a recurring role in The Office's U.S. version, in the year 2011. She remained in the role until the final episode of the series. She portrayed the role as Miss Sarah Postern in the BBC One sitcom Big School (2013-2014) and she voiced Magica De Spell in the animated series DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate was in six roles on Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy series she co-wrote as well as co-directed.
