Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress from the United States. She is well-known as the character the role of Lieutenant Sheba in the period 1978-1979 of the television show Battlestar Galactica. She is the daughter of the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. The career of Lockhart began in a young age. She played her first part in the age of four for T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about a subject was selected for the academy award. It's possible that one of her agents rejected the offer for her without informing her. The initial decision was by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for a role in the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. In the beginning, she didn't like the character because it seemed too weak. Glen then wrote a script for her which starred a strong character called Sheba. After having read the first 25 pages of the script The Living Legend she accepted immediately. It lasted for just one season. She appeared in Joyride (1977), a movie which she co-starred and acted in with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
